This policy explains what personal information ZenoraTech collects when you use our website or our services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

1. Who we are

ZenoraTech is a web development and digital marketing business based in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean ZenoraTech. "You" means anyone visiting our website or using our services.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, ZenoraTech is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and enquiry forms: your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website address, and anything you write in a message field.
• Free website health check requests: the same details, plus the website address you ask us to review.
• Referral programme: your name and contact details, the details of businesses you refer, and payment details needed to send you a referral reward.
• Client work: if you become a client, information needed to deliver the work — business details, billing information, and any account access you choose to share with us.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4, which records pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, how you arrived at our site, and how long you stayed.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details as a normal part of running a website.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, and do not want, your passwords or account logins unless you are an active client and it is necessary for work you have asked us to do. Our free website health check requires no access to your website at all — we only look at what is publicly visible.

3. Why we use it

We process this information on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form or engage us, and where necessary to perform a contract with you or to meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Marketing messages

If you request a health check, a quote, or any other enquiry, we will contact you about that request. We may send one short follow-up message afterwards to ask whether you have questions. If you do not reply, we stop.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to bulk marketing lists without your agreement. If you have agreed to receive updates, every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing us.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent needed:

• Formspree — processes website form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
• Brevo — used for email delivery and, where applicable, mailing lists.
• Google (Analytics) — website usage measurement.
• Hostinger — website hosting and server logs.
• Meta and Google Ads — where advertising campaigns are running, these platforms may receive data about site visits through their own tools.
• Payment providers — where you pay us online, payment details are handled directly by the payment gateway. We do not store card details.

Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where that happens, your information may be transferred and stored outside India, subject to the protections those providers offer and to any restrictions under Indian law.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records: for the duration of our engagement and afterwards as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes — generally eight years for financial records.
• Analytics data: retained according to the settings in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to erase your personal data, where we are not required to keep it
• Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies set by Google Analytics to measure usage. If advertising tools are active, those may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though our analytics will not count your visit.

9. Security

Our site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to enquiry data to those who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information in our care and will inform you and the relevant authority if a breach affects your personal data.

10. Children

Our services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be notified to active clients directly.
